An improbable band with an improbable name. Yur Mum is a blend of anything that's loud, noisy and comes from the heart. They call it 'road rage' rock...(...)...As the name suggests, the band’s attitude is unpretentious and irreverent. They just want to make music. Whether in the mood for a one night stand or Shakespearean romance, Yur Mum is ready to flirt with the unexpected.
From blog 'Louder Than War' by Ged Babey:
'With the most deceptively awful name in years, Yur Mum are fronted by singing bassist Anelise. She is the focal point and has a great big, fat burring bass-sound and real presence. Her voice is stronger than you’d imagine from her skinny build and she ‘rocks’. They are a band to watch out for'.
TANKRIS are four musicians from Vienna, all prolific in their own ways between improvised music, jazz, free form/noise- rock, rather not sticking with too clear defined or hollow genres in their work.
